FLIN releases debut album
New Well Life Creation signing, the producer and now also singer-songwriter, FLIN finally released his first album called "Du Weißt" (german for "You know"). The 10-track strong record presents the Berlin native in a new light. After producing and composing mainly electronic songs for years, FLIN now opens up on a much more personal level and delivers his first piece of work with German lyrics that touches on private topics like family, mental health and love. Listening to the whole album is quite a rollercoaster of emotions. From thankful messages to his loved ones, grieving over tragic losses and ending relationships, to insights into his mind, where he shows the listener his views on life and all its facets, from the inside out. Musically, Du Weißt showcases FLIN‘s ability to merge together different styles and makes it difficult to really categorize it in terms of genres. With a melodic ballad here, an electronic thunderstorm there, it’s filled with diversity, which becomes even more clear after hearing the potential modern German-Rock anthem "Alles Richtig Scheiße Wichtig" which will make any hobby-anarchist jump on tables and sing along out loud. The album finishes off with the beautifully monotonous-melancholic "Fata Morgana" outro track, that could easily stick in your head for the rest of the day. Earworm alert!
